- South ossetia battled georgia for its own independence in 1990-91, the conflict was resolved and russian and georgian peacekeepers were put in south ossetia, as it retained an autonomous region with its own president.

- Nato is a farce, the U.S. has been pressuring this old soviet states to join Nato so we have a nice wall of defense from Russia, the minute Russia even makes a move then they are at war with the whole Nato.
